Scotland somehow talks

The sky mama hungers like the psyche
watering there her man of ash
sooting down, bedding down plains
horses mutter on and bulls trample
for people twenty feet under
smelling loincloths like sky daddy
turns hermit in when sky cousin
rears and hears the waters pull
to it like children to candy
pulling mama and daddy fro
and to gray grass abandoned
of its daughters the ants
who built their tower and scattered
each knowing not what the other says.
