Like rodents in strong water

Rat race? Someone to screw and someone to talk to.
Little Arabs and their gibberish, and you deep
in your gibberish, and none of it makes much sense
besides nerve to nerve galvanism, yelping, twitching.
English is a factory boy. The lulling tongue
of olden times caught many a man in his stinking hay.
The mulling of it all cut a hand off for furniture
just to sit on, just to have company in all this being
tarred in a body instead of any pluralities we’d sink for.
How big and moping the grandiose nerves extending
into the grip of other nerves and someone to talk to.
