Hexapodal gentlemen

Good monsters them, they lie
on me brilliant and black
diagrammed how God would
if God could, they attack
their fellows how slaves
always did as Greece drank
itself back to the seas
crawling stooped like these
pests summer writes on my chest.
Who am I but their Atlas,
they but my uninstructed peoples?
