Reflections on childhood

Poor in the West—
I decorated my head
since I had no room—
posters in paragraphs—
how Schopenhauer
struggles in the cortex—
death, he says:
we are all brain stems
staring at each the other
in despair and such—
perhaps his is a myth
he believed too much—
poor in the West:
to think, to think—
a fantasy replaces
so the body will ache—
